Car Cleaning - The Nine Days
Question
Last week I gave a few boys a ride to the graves of tzaddikim, and they made a big mess in the car. They had committed to cleaning it afterward. The issue is, they’re going on holiday at the end of the week, and if they don’t clean it now, I’ll have to pay to get it properly cleaned. Is there any problem with cleaning the car inside and out?

It is permitted to clean the car during the Nine Days when there is a reason to do so now.
