Ordering Items During the Nine Days

Hi,Is it permitted to order an item during the Nine Days if it will only arrive in about a month? I should note that the joy is usually when the item arrives, not at the time of ordering.Thank you very much.

The ruling of our teacher, Harav Amrom Fried shlit”a, is that it is permitted to place the order.
The reason is that the actual acquisition does not take place at the time of ordering, but only when the item arrives.
