Cooking Meat During the Nine Days

Question

Is there an issue for Ashkenazim to prepare meaty dishes for after Tisha B'Av?

Answer

Shalom UvRacha,

There’s no problem with cooking meat during the Nine Days if it’s for use after Tisha B’Av.

(Reminder: One may not eat meat immediately after Tisha B’Av, but only after midday on the 10th of Av.)
