Songs after Lag BaOmer
Question
Is it permissible to listen to music after Lag BaOmer for Ashkenazim?
Answer
Shalom Rav
I’m quoting from the rulings of our Rav, Hagaon Harav Amrom Fried, shlita
Music after Lag BaOmer:
Some have the custom to listen to music, but the Mishnah Berurah rules that one should not be lenient, and it is only permitted from Rosh Chodesh Sivan, and this is how it should be done (however, there are Sephardim who are lenient to listen to music after the 34th day of the Omer).
