AI Music on Sefirah
Question
Is AI generated music permitted during sefira? It is a robot, and contains no real instruments. In addition, would it pose an issue with kol isha? It is a robot randomly generating sound, with no real voices being used. Thanks so much.

The restriction against listening to music during Sefira includes AI. One should be stringent with regard to a cappella music. AI “kol isha” would depend on whether it would cause a person to have impure thoughts, then it would also be forbidden.
