Name of Hashem

Question

Shalom rabbi I have a question, I love G-D very much, my question is what dos the name "YAHVAH" mean I don't say this name thank you for taking the time to answer G-D bless you.

Answer

Shalom!

Thank you for your question.

The “Yud-Hay-Vav-Hay,” which we pronounce as Adon-ai, in prayer, it is written in Halacha that one should have in mind when mentioning the name that Hashem is Adon hakol (Master of all), Hayah, Hoveh, v’Yihyeh — which means that He was, He is, and He will be, existing beyond time and sustaining all existence at every moment.

Wishing you well.
