Parsha of Tzitzis during the Time of kriat Shemah
Question
If someone knows they won’t have enough time to say Kriyas Shema during the proper time and therefore says it earlier — does he also need to say Vayomer? It would seem that Vayomer isn’t directly part of the mitzvah of Kriyas Shema itself, since it’s only said to fulfill the mitzvah of remembering Yetzias Mitzrayim (the Exodus), which is mentioned in it. So does he still need to say it?
Answer
Shalom uVracha,
Chazal instituted that the parsha of Tzitzis should be recited together with Krias Shema, during its proper time.
