Including Young Girls in a Daily Tehillim Group

Question

There is a group of women who recite together every day, each one in her own home, using a divided Sefer Tehillim. Is there any issue with including a girl under the age of 12?

Answer

Shalom Rav,

There is no problem to include a young girl under the age of 12 to your group, as long as she is able to recite the Tehillim in a serious manner.

There is actually a great advantage to the tefillah of such a young child who is under the age of Bat Mitsvah, as she has not yet committed any sins.
