Forgot Ya’aleh V’Yavo – is it considered that he prayed with a minyan?

Question

A person who made a vow to give 100 shekels to charity every time he would not pray Shacharis with a minyan. On Rosh Chodesh, he prayed with a minyan, but during the Chazzan’s repetition he realized he had forgotten to say Ya’aleh V’Yavo in his Amidah. After Mussaf, he repeated the Shacharis Amidah alone without a minyan.Does this count as if he did not pray with a minyan, obligating him to give 100 shekels to charity?

Answer

Shalom uVracha,

It is considered that he prayed with a minyan, since the second Shacharis prayer (Ha’ashlamah) does not need to be recited with a minyan.
