Shacharit Prayer After Chatzot

Question

I am careful to pray three prayers a day. If I woke up after chatzot (halachic midday), what am I able to pray (which blessings), or do I say only a tashlumin prayer at Mincha?

Answer

Shalom uVracha,

After chatzot, one may recite Birchot HaTorah, as well as the blessings Shelo asani goy, Shelo asani eved, and She’asani kirtzono. (Some have the custom to recite the other Birchot HaShachar as well).

One should also recite Keriat Shema, for the purpose of accepting on oneself "Ol Malchut Shamayim".
