Continuation of the Blessing on an Egg in a Salad

Is there any purpose to leave the egg whole and recite a separate blessing on it?

Shalom,
There is no reason according to Halacha not to mash the egg into the salad.
The Bracha is determined based on the current state of the salad and which food is the primary ingredient.
