Using an Old Dairy Oven

Question

Is it permissible to heat meat in an oven in which a cheesecake was baked about 5 years ago? Since then, no dairy use has been made of it.

Answer

Greetings,
Even if a vessel absorbed one type of food (meat or dairy) a long time ago, it should not be used for the other type.
There is a possibility to turn it up to the highest heat for about half an hour, and then to determine once and for all which use is desired.
