Eating for medical purposes before prayer
Question
Is it permissible for someone who needs to take medicine on a full stomach early in the morning to eat before prayer for this purpose? And how much is it permissible to eat?
Answer
Dear …!
It is permissible to eat before prayer for medical purposes, and one should eat as much as is necessary for the treatment.
But if it is possible to take the medication a little bit later, and eat after prayer, it is not permitted to eat beforehand.
