The inheritance that was divided among the children.

Question

My wife's grandfather passed away and according to the heirs' decision, the money was divided among all family members, so each of my children received a certain amount. To whom does the money belong, to me or to the children? If it belongs to the children, am I allowed to invest it on their behalf in stocks that are considered profitable in the long run, but in the short term may incur losses?

Answer

Dear ...!

The money belongs to the father, not the children.

Even the money that belongs to the children their father is allowed to invest in stocks that are suitable to invest in.
