Dough intended for other people

Question

If a woman bakes challos and distributes them among her children or neighbors, etc., does she have to separate the challah with a blessing?

Answer

If she leaves for herself an amount over which she'd have to recite a blessing, she should separate with a blessing. But if she does not leave this amount for herself - she should separate without a blessing. In the latter case, if she separates with a blessing, there are authorities that she can rely upon.
