Immersing a toaster

Question

I just bought a new panini-maker-type toaster. The part that actually comes in contact with the food is made like a tray that can be removed from the appliance. One can use different types of trays with this toaster. Do I have to immerse the toaster with the tray, or is it enough to just immerse the tray?

Answer

It’s enough to immerse the tray. You don’t have to immerse the appliance with it.
