Using a utensil that wasn’t immersed

Question

I’m currently staying in a village, which doesn’t have a mikveh (a ritual bath) for utensils. I just bought a small pan. Can I use is tonight just once without immersing it in a mikveh? I’m going to immerse it tomorrow.

Answer

Dear …!

If this utensil has to be immersed, then it is forbidden to use it even once without immersing it.
