Immodest wedding

Question

My husband is a repentant Jew (baal tshuvah), and he has a nonreligious friend who is getting married. He doesn’t feel comfortable not coming to the wedding, but there is immoral behavior at the wedding. What should he do?

Answer

If your husband’s friend will really resent your husband’s not coming to his wedding, then your husband should come, show some participation in the wedding, and then leave. He shouldn’t stay there.
