Holiness of a sabbatical year in hadassim

Question

Do hadassim (myrtle branches) acquire the holiness of a sabbatical year this year?

Answer

Hadassim, which are not used as a smelling substance, and which are planted specially to use them in the fulfillment of the commandment of the “four species”, do not acquire the holiness of a sabbatical year. But there are people who are stringent in this matter.
