Toupee for a man

Question

Is it permissible for a man to get a hair weave or wear a toupee?

Answer

Shalom!

Thank you for your question.

It is permitted for a man to wear a toupee if he is bothered by the way he looks. Some say that a man who wears a toupee is required to wear a kippah on his toupee, lest onlookers believe that he is walking around bareheaded.
