Shabbat and school
Question
I have a required marching band event on shabbat and I dont know if I can do it due to shabbat. I just need to know because I believe they can make an exception for shabbat.

There are many, many reasons why it is forbidden to participate in a marching band on Shabbat.
I am sure your local rabbi can write you a letter excusing you from such an event, if needed.
The observance of Shabbat is the source of all blessings!
