Hearing the Blessing of Shehecheyanu from a Woman

Question

Today, I forgot to recite the Shehecheyanu blessing on the lulav. Later, when my wife recited the blessing at home, I intended to fulfill my obligation through her blessing and I took the lulav again. Have I fulfilled my obligation?

Answer

Shalom!
You have not fulfilled your obligation. Since a woman is not obligated in the mitzvah of lulav, and one who is not obligated in a matter cannot fulfill the obligation for others.
