Yom Kippur Fast - Pregnancy and Colitis

Question

Have a good week! My wife is in her 19th week of pregnancy and suffers from a bowel disease, colitis. She takes pills and injections. Does she need to fast on Yom Kippur and what should she do about the pills (there is one medication that she needs to take with a full glass of fluid and she can only manage it with apple juice)? Thank you very much, I would appreciate an answer before the holiday.

Answer

Shalom!
She should eat and drink ‘in measurements’, taking a portin every 4 minutes.
Drinking 'in measurements' is 40 ml of drink each time, eating 'in measurements' is 30 ml of food each time.
