Eating Meat for a Nursing Woman on a Fast Day
Question
Is a fully nursing woman who eats on the Fast of Gedaliah allowed to eat meat?
Answer
Shalom and a good year! If she needs the meat for strength or to increase lactation, it is permitted. If not, she should refrain from indulging during the fast.
