Affixing a Mezuzah by a Woman

Question

I work in an office building. We moved to a new building and the boss asked that each one of us come to his office, take a Mezuzah, and affix it in her room. Do we have a problem affixing the Mezuzah?

Answer

Greetings,
Ideally, it is better for a man to affix the Mezuzah, not a woman. However, according to the law, a woman is obligated in the mitzvah of Mezuzah, so she can affix a Mezuzah.

Shulchan Aruch, Yoreh Deah 286:1
Ideally, one should take into account the opinion of the Yeshuot Malko who prohibits a woman from affixing a Mezuzah.
