Water that was heated in a meat kettle

Question

This morning I made coffee and when I added milk, they told me that the kettle is meaty (not used for meat in the last 24 hours). Am I allowed to drink the coffee and am I allowed to add more milk?

Answer

Shalom!
It is permitted to mix milk with it.
[According to Ashkenazi custom, one should not heat water in it in order to mix it with milk, but after it has been heated, it is permitted to mix it].
