Absorbed Kosher Foods That I Do Not Normally Eat

Question

Is it permissible for people who do not eat certain kosher foods (such as those certified by Rabbi Machpud) to cook in a meat pot in which meat with this kosher certification was cooked?

Answer

Shalom!
If you do not normally eat food with a certain kosher certification, but it is of a 'Mehadrin' (stringent) level, you may use a utensil that was used with this kosher certification, provided that the utensil is clean, and not 'Ben Yomo' (had not been used within the last 24 hours).
