Items Forgotten in the Mikveh

Question

Are items, clothes, shoes, and more, found in the Mikveh considered ownerless and permissible to take?

Answer

Shalom!
Most items have a distinguishing mark and the person who lost them knows where they were forgotten, therefore it is forbidden to take them. If a long time has passed since they were lost, or if these items are about to be thrown into the garbage, it is permitted to take them.
