Vomiting and Pain on Tisha B'Av

Question

Peace and blessings! My 17-year-old daughter has not been feeling well for the past two hours. She is suffering from severe pain and nausea. Currently, she is vomiting. Is she allowed to break her fast?

Answer

If she is weak or suffering from pain to the extent that she needs to lie in bed because of it, she needs to stop fasting now.
