A Pregnant Woman's Visit to the Zoo

Is it fitting for a pregnant woman not to go to the zoo?

There is no source for this in the Sages of the Talmud or in the decisors of Jewish law. I have heard that there are communities that refrain from this, and it is appropriate that they should act according to their custom.
