Fasting for a woman who gave birth five months ago

Question

Good afternoon, my wife gave birth five months ago. Does she need to fast on Tisha B'Av?

Answer

Shalom!
Generally, thirty days after giving birth, a woman is required to fast on Tisha B'Av, unless this woman has a special illness or weakness, in which case this should be considered separately.
