Purchasing a Talmud during the Nine Days

Question

If one finds a Talmud for a lower price during the Nine Days [which brings joy] and after the Nine Days the price will be significantly higher, what should one do?

Answer

Greetings,
If the price difference is significant, this is considered a prevention of financial loss and is permitted.
If the price difference is not large, and the purchase brings joy, it is appropriate to buy after Tisha B'Av.
If there is a concern that you will not find the Talmud of the type you are accustomed to and wish to buy, it is permissible in any case, since it is for the purpose of a mitzvah.
