Partnership in Renting a Zimmer

Hello. I rented a zimmer for the interim period to rent it out to others part of the time to earn money. I received explicit permission from the landlord, and there is no dispute or conflict between us, thank God. I contacted a woman from the area and proposed a partnership as follows. She would furnish the place according to the rules, from beds to a pool, jacuzzi, and synthetic grass in the yard. She would try to advertise in her ways, and I would in mine. I would provide her phone number. She would handle all necessary matters, such as cleaning, changing linens, etc., and we would split the money received fifty-fifty. We agreed verbally and started. After some time, she said she had expenses, and we agreed to pay the expenses first before splitting the profits. She agreed that we also have expenses like the rent of the place and other various costs. This woman, despite her good intentions, did not manage to prepare the zimmer on time, so we did not rent it out the first week to anyone. But the second week of the interim period, we rented it to a family for 4 nights for 7000 shekels, and they paid a deposit of 2000 shekels. I contacted this family and gave them the woman's phone number as if she were the owner of the zimmer. I told them what I understood from her that should be in the zimmer and asked them to speak with her directly and not rely on me because I do not want to mislead them. This family arrived last Sunday at the place and was horrified by the place. They claim they waited for her for 5 hours until she came, and the place was not ready, to put it mildly. They asked to leave and demanded the deposit back. She told them she agreed to return the deposit but did not have the money because she used it, so she would return it later when she has it.
