Question

I owe my friend money, and unfortunately, I don't remember how much (around 10 shekels). What should I do?

Shalom,

If you trust the friend, ask her about the full amount.

If she doesn’t remember, or you don’t fully trust her, then return the amount you’re certain you owe—and you’re exempt from the rest.
