Ribbis in borrowing a car
Question
If one lends a car, there is no issue of ribbis. But if the car was lent with half a tank of fuel, and the borrower returns it with a little more — is that considered ribbis or not?
Answer
Shalom uVracha,
There is no prohibition of ribbis (interest) in this case.
Since it is considered as borrowing the car, therefore it is permitted to pay for it.
